SIBA offers different submission modes for reporting accommodation bulletins. Depending on your booking volume and needs, you can choose the method that best suits your business.
Available Submission Modes
The SIBA portal offers three main submission modes for accommodation bulletins:
- Portal Page - entering each guest individually directly on the portal
- File Upload - uploading files containing multiple records
- Web Service - automatic integration via API for real-time submission
How to Switch to "Web Service"?
If your registration is currently set to manual mode (Portal Page), you won't be able to automate submissions with Sincro until this change is made in SIBA.
This change cannot be made directly in the SIBA dashboard. You must request the change by email from SIBA's technical support team.
Web Service - The Best Option
Web Service mode enables automatic integration with software like Sincro. Data is sent automatically as soon as the guest completes check-in, with no manual intervention required.
Sending the Change Request
You must send an email to SIBA's official support at the following address:
siba@ssi.gov.pt
Use the following subject line:
Change of submission mode to Web Service - [Establishment No.]
Use the following email body:
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to request a change of Submission Mode for my establishment, with the following details: Tax ID (NIF): [Your NIF] Name: [The name on your registration] Establishment No.: [Your establishment number, as shown on your registration] The unit is currently configured as "Portal Page" and I would like it changed to "Web Service" mode, to allow automatic integration through software.
What to Do After Confirmation
Once SIBA support confirms the change (a process that may take a few business days), your property will be ready for automation.
- Log in to the SIBA portal and check whether the mode now shows as "Web Service".
